Yes we can. We carry out septic tank inspections and more detailed homebuyer surveys to help identify visible defects, poor performance, drainage-field concerns and other issues that may affect the property. Yes, but they are different tests. A BS 6297 wastewater percolation test assesses ground intended for a drainage field serving a septic tank or sewage treatment plant. A BRE 365 soakaway test assesses how surface water, such as rainwater from roofs and paved areas, can infiltrate into the ground.
We can inspect the tank, treatment plant, accessible drainage and surrounding ground to look for visible damage, poor flow, leaks, ponding and other signs of failure. Depending on what we find, the next step may involve servicing, repair, further investigation or replacement.
