Septic tank emptying service South Wales

Is your septic tank ready to be emptied? Tankology will come to your home or business in South Wales at a time of your convenience and provide this essential, specialist service at an affordable rate.

If you’ve had your septic system for some time you will understand that it needs to be emptied regularly. How often it is emptied will be dependent on the size of the septic tank and the size of your household or company.

Furthermore, the costs of septic tank emptying will also vary depending on how much effluent needs to be collected and disposed of. There are many companies that empty septic tanks for cheap prices, but not all do it properly.

Top tips for keeping your septic tank clean

  • Emptying – You should have your septic tank emptied regularly. This means at least every 6 months.
  • Leaks – Every time you get it emptied you should inspect the tank for leaks. This should be part of your maintenance routine.
  • Toilet – Don’t flush anything down your loo that you know won’t break down in the tank. Keep to toilet paper and nothing else.
  • Sink – Similarly, don’t discard oils or food. The oils won’t dissolve and food particles will build-up in the bottom.
  • Chemicals – Household cleaning products and drain cleaners can harm the good bacteria in your septic tank.
